Vintage Southern Improv Medallion Quilt, Pastel Brocade Concentric Squares

It appears to have been pieced from pre-quilted mill remnants, a resourceful practice among mid-century Southern quilters. The front shows a scalloped ogee quilting pattern and the back a diamond grid. The improvisational layout gives it the graphic, folk-art feel collectors look for. Finished with a yellow binding.
