Vintage 1970s Hand-Quilted Patchwork Quilt, Green Houndstooth & Scrap Squares
A cheerful 1970s scrap quilt that captures the decade's love of bold color. Hundreds of squares cut from polka dots, plaids, stripes, florals, and solids alternate with a kelly-green houndstooth, finished with mint binding. It was hand-quilted with running stitches through every row.
Made from durable polyester double-knit, the kind of quilt that holds up to picnics, porch nights, and tossing over the back of the couch. A true make-do piece, likely pieced from leftover dressmaking fabric.
